Sash windows are clearly elegant and well constructed with its finest structure on the board. This kind of structure is quite prominent in the windows that were present in the 19th centuries. They were considered to be one of the popular forms of windows that were being used lately. But however their popularity came to decline over the last fifty years. But however, with the appreciation and on following the caricature of the old architects, their ways of creating the beautiful designs and structures had come into prominence lately. The author of the article has been in the manufacturing and designing business himself for the past 20 years. His main focus was on the quality structure, and the excellent service provided by it.

Most used design

The earlier wooden sash windows were quite fashionable not only in older buildings, but also in the new. It somehow showed the elite pattern of the buildings as it was mostly seen in their residences. Sheet glass was one of the common features in the Victorian era. It was mainly found on the terraces and in the villas and by the later part of the century, there were trends of a minimum of four sashes paned. These, however, differed in terms of the regional variations. There was a general rule that was followed that this kind of glass plates was to be found only in the important rooms. These were not to be found in the poorer sections of the society. The quality hardwood sashes are among the finest products that were in demand then.

The construction and importance

The main construction of such sash windows was generally done with a more sophisticated and well-molded features and that also require an extra cost of the labor. This was, however, one of the reasons why timber and steel products were being produced by the masses. They were generally constructed by using a high-quality hardwood.
